Pascal Finette

Pascal is Co-Founder (and Chief Heretic) at be radical. Further Pascal is EY’s global wavespace Advisory Board Chair, member of the Digital Advisory Board at Pearson, board member and advisor to various startups and the co-founder of The Coaching Fellowship. He has spent his career pushing the boundaries of technology and passionately believes it can profoundly impact the betterment of humankind. Pascal’s past work includes founding eBay’s Platform Solutions Group in Europe, launching a global consulting firm, and investing into early-stage tech startups. He led Mozilla’s Open Innovation Lab, their accelerator program WebFWD, and headed up Mozilla’s Office of the Chair. As Principal at Google.org, he invested into social impact organizations around the globe. Liliana Reyes

Liliana is CEO at Amexcap since April, 2018. Before this, she was Venture Capital Director of the National Entrepreneurship Institute (INADEM). She has more than 15 years of experience in development banks in areas such as projects evaluation, technical assistance and project management with multilateral and bilateral funding. 

She has worked as an independent consultant and project manager of local economic development projects financed with international cooperation funds. 

Mrs. Reyes has graduated in international affairs from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She has master degree in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a master degree in International Cooperation and Project Management from the Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset from Madrid, Spain. She also has a Diploma in Private Equity from the IPADE Business School. 

Ivan RIVAS

María Teresa Arnal is an experienced executive with nearly 30 years of leadership in innovation and technology. She has held key positions at global tech giants like Microsoft, Google, and Stripe, specializing in digital transformation, strategy, and fintech. A pioneer in the digital industry in Mexico and Latin America, María Teresa has been instrumental in driving the growth of startups, including her own ventures, Clarus and Mirum, which was later acquired by WPP. She is recognized as one of the 50 most influential figures in Ibero-American technology by HITEC.

Currently, María Teresa advises companies across various industries through her firm, The FutureProof Vision, which focuses on transformation and scaling. She also serves on the boards of Orbia Corp, Walmart Mexico and Central America, Millicom, Sigma Alimentos, and Salud Digna, a non-profit organization focused on preventive healthcare that serves 18 million Mexicans. Her commitment to fostering tech entrepreneurship is reflected in her investments and over a decade of mentoring with Endeavor.

Iñigo Fernandez Baptista

Iñigo is Meta’s Director of Public Policy for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean where he works on issues related to the Internet and the company’s mission of giving people the power to build community and bringing the world closer together. Before joining Meta, Íñigo worked for twelve years within the executive and judicial branches of the Mexican federal government where he dealt with different policy and legal issues. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and a master’s degree in comparative politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Íñigo has been a professor of criminal law at Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITSEM) and has written numerous articles in academic journals and magazines.

Tatiana Vela

Tatiana Vela is the Head of Marketing for Latin America at Whirlpool Corporation, responsible for leading strategies across more than 50 countries, including Mexico, the Andean region, Central America, the Caribbean, and Argentina. A graduate in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Tatiana has built a successful career, excelling in brand management, creativity, and media strategy development.

Her role encompasses building, restructuring, and implementing the regional marketing department, in addition to overseeing four key brands: KitchenAid, Maytag, Whirlpool, and Acros. She also leads the Consumer Insights area and heads the Design Team, ensuring that innovation and a consumer-centric vision drive every project under her direction.

ALEJANDRO PREINFALK

Alejandro has an extensive career of over 20 years at Siemens on a global level.
He has held various executive positions in Costa Rica, Germany, Russia, Guatemala, and Mexico.

He is an Electrical Engineer, graduated from the University of Costa Rica, with courses completed at Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and the University of Michigan.

He is President of the Mexico 4.0 Commission: Innovation and Industrial Digitalization of CONCAMIN, Vice President of the National Chamber of Electrical Manufacturers (CANAME), Vice President of the German-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMEXA), Member of the Executive Council of Global Companies (CEEG), mentor at Endeavor, and Advisor at the Alliance for Integrity.

Since June 2020, he has served as the CEO and President of Siemens Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Ángeles Vela del Río

She holds a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master's in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

She began her professional career in the private sector, focusing on quality and production areas, and later moved into consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, and Human Capital. She was in charge of the ISO 9000 Quality System at a consulting firm. Later, she worked in the government of Coahuila in Economic Development, overseeing SMEs, successfully securing funds and financing for projects at the federal, state, and municipal levels, and spearheading the formation of the silver cluster and the Information Technology network in the region.

Subsequently, she joined the Nuevo León ICT Cluster, CSOFTMTY, where she was responsible for Funds and Financing as well as Business Relations. She later directed the Human Capital Division, overseeing mobile application contests like Apporta and programs for converting engineers from other fields into IT. Currently, she is the General Director of the Nuevo León ICT Cluster, focusing on initiatives in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Human Capital, and Markets within the Information Technology ecosystem.

She has promoted initiatives within the cluster to increase the number of women in the industry, particularly in Mexico, offering programming training, certifications, and general IT courses. For over seven consecutive years, she has championed technology education programs for over 4,000 children and young people, encouraging them to pursue STEM careers from an early age.

She serves as a Board Member and Commissioner for various organizations, including the Nuevo León Council, Venture Café Monterrey, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Monterrey Government, the Technological University of Santa Catarina, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Municipal Council of Government Innovation in Monterrey, the Strategic Committee on Innovation and Talent of IncMty, among others. She also leads the Technology-Based Committee of Invest Monterrey and serves as Treasurer of MXTI (the Mexican IT Cluster Network). She writes monthly technology articles on cases developed in Mexico for a magazine.

Within the cluster, together with her team, they have achieved several milestones: the global ESCA GOLD certification, the establishment of a Cybersecurity Center, agreements with the Pacific Chamber and Santa Clara University in California, the Export Merit Award from COMCE Northeast, recognition from COMCE National, presence in a Harvard Business School success story, and representing 230 IT-related organizations.

She is passionate about using technology to help build a better country and a more equitable and happier Mexican society.

Mauricio Torres Echenagucia

Mauricio Torres Echenagucia is a business and technology leader, passionate about long term client relationships, with a strong belief that the power of a diverse and inclusive team with focused and inspirational leadership, are ingredients to extraordinary results.
Beginning his career with IBM in 1991, Mauricio has held multiple national and international roles working across the US and Latin America, including marketing, sales, finance and general management, regional responsibilities for Latin America and country specific assignments allowing him to gain a vast experience in Artificial Intelligence, Hybrid Cloud, Cybersecurity,
Blockchain and Industry specific digital transformation.

During his career, Mauricio managed business units with full P&L responsibilities, including HW, SW and Services. At his core, Mauricio is proud to be a technologist, with a strong social commitment, long term business sustainability, integrity and trust. Currently, he is President and Techology Leader, IBM México, having served in several boards in Venezuela, Chile and México.

daniela calleja

Daniela is the Director of New Issuers at BIVA (Institutional Stock Exchange), where she leads efforts to guide companies through the process of making a public offering in the stock market.

Prior to this, she was Director and a member of the Investment Committee at Redwood Ventures, the first venture capital fund in Guadalajara. She also served as Director of Technology Companies at Endeavor, Principal at Nazca Mexico, and launched the fund's operations in Colombia.

Daniela has a strong commitment to the development of sustainable industries that generate a positive impact on the economy. She has contributed to the evolution of the entrepreneurial and private equity ecosystem since its inception and is now supporting efforts to create better conditions for providing liquidity to the markets.

She holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Anáhuac, with specialization studies in private equity, risk management, and company creation and growth from Claremont University and ITAM. Daniela is also a Board Member of the Mujeres Invirtiendo Association, which has over 350 members working to promote diversity and equal opportunities for women in the investment industry in Mexico.

 

 

 

Carlos Arenas

He holds a degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. He joined FEMSA in 1984, working in areas such as Information Systems, Procurement, and Strategic Planning. In 2001, he joined OXXO, FEMSA's retail division.

At OXXO, Carlos has held various positions within the company. He started in Strategic Planning, where for five years he defined the priority initiatives to guide OXXO's sustained growth. Subsequently, he served as the Director of the Information Technology department, and in 2010, he became the Director of Supply Chain, where he was responsible for ensuring the proper supply of more than 12,000 stores across Mexico. In 2014, Carlos assumed the role of Commercial Director, responsible for the company's total sales and margins, as well as managing relationships with key business partners.

Since 2016, Carlos has held his current position as General Director of OXXO Mexico.

Carlos is a member of the CAFFENIO Board of Directors, the International and Latin American Council for the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), and the current Co-chair of the Consumers Goods Forum for Latin America.

Lorena Bravo

Lorena Bravo is Head of Security & Innovation at Google Cloud Consulting LATAM. She is also an international image consultant, and a a certified sommelier. She holds a Master in AI and Digital Transformation, and Artificial Intelligence certification by MIT, and a Master in Digital Marketing by ISDI Spain, as well as Top Management at IPADE. 

She is the first woman to hold a CTO role at Oracle, where she lead the launching of the first cloud region of Oracle in Mexico. 

As a pioneer in Cybersecurity, she founded the security practice at Google Consulting Latin America and created the Community and Program: AI & Cybersecurity Women CISO at Google, which gathered more than 2,000 female students in just 10 months in.

Her outstanding trayectory makes her an influential leader in Technology, Innovation and Diversity. 

 

Emmanuel Loo

Emmanuel Loo graduated with honors from St. Edward's University and Stanford
University with degrees in Finance and Accounting. After completing his education
started working in a US based private equity firm in mergers, acquisitions, valuations
and restructuring of companies.
After several years in the private equity arena decided to follow his entrepreneur
dream by starting several ventures in technology, F&B, healthcare, fintech, and
consulting.
Emmanuel has held several strategic roles in public and private arena including
being President of Mexican Entrepreneur Association (AEM) a ONG with a focus
on helping Mexican Nationals launch their businesses in the United States and
helping US companies expand to Mexico.
Emmanuel is also extremely focused on giving back to the community and sits on
the board of the following nonprofits: Mexic-Arte Museum, City of Austin Sister
Cities, Integra Institute, Parents Alliance, Cine de las Americas & City of Austin
Public Safety Commission.
For more than 12 years Emmanuel has worked as a consultant for international
companies and private equity groups in helping them expand their operations to the
United States and Mexico including startups in their growth stage.
Before becoming Deputy Secretary of Economy, Emmanuel was in charge of the
International Affairs Bureau for the State Government of Nuevo Leon.

LAURA GUERRA

Laura Guerra is a prominent entrepreneur and the founder of JINZAI, a talent acquisition company that has revolutionized the field with its innovative approach, including exponential technologies such as SHOPIA, the first Virtual Recruiter based on regenerative artificial intelligence.

With 28 years of experience in the industry, Laura has demonstrated her leadership and vision by positioning JINZAI as a benchmark in the Technology and Talent sector.

Juan Francisco Aguilar

Juan Francisco Aguilar has been working for Dell Technologies for the last 25 years.

His career began as an account executive for the Large Enterprise Unit (corporate accounts LCA-large), and he has held the position of General Manager at Dell EMC since 2012.

Previously, he was the Head of the Dell Partner Direct Program in Mexico, with the mission to strengthen it in the country. Before this role, he served as Regional Sales Manager for Dell Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, a position that allowed him to interact with various customers and distributors throughout the region. Among his achievements in the Caribbean, the implementation of the Channel program in the North region of Latin America stands out.

Juan Francisco was also the Regional Sales Director of the Advanced Solutions Group (ASG) and the Division of Preferred Accounts (PAD) in Mexico.

Prior to joining Dell, Juan Francisco worked for eight years at NCR, where he served as a Sales Specialist & Marketing Solutions Manager for various industries.

Juan Francisco is a Systems Engineer from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and holds an MBA in Management, specializing in General Management, from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

Maria Elena Orantes

Maria Elena Orantes is an outstanding woman with a broad trajectory in politics, academy, and business. She has become an inspiring leader for the mexican community.

Rogelio de los santos

Rogelio De los Santos is Managing Partner and co-founder of Dalus Capital. He is a prominent investor and entrepreneur, known for founding and funding venture-stage disruptive companies with a focus on high-impact initiatives. As the founding Managing Partner of Dalus Capital, he plays a key role in supporting entrepreneurial ventures and fostering ecosystem development. De los Santos also serves as a trustee of Tecnológico de Monterrey, is a member of the International Board of Advisors at the University of Texas at Austin, and holds an honorary board membership with ASEM. Rebecca Fannin

Rebecca A. Fannin is a journalist, author and media founder well known for spotting global innovation trends early on.  Currently a special contributor to CNBC and its Disruptor 50 report, Rebecca also leads Silicon Dragon Ventures, covering tech innovation, venture capital, startups and business leadership through her Ask A VC show, newsletter and events.

Patricia Desentis

Patricia Desentis is Principal at 500 LatAm, leading early-stage investments in tech startups across Latin America. As a venture capital investor, she has invested in over 100 companies. She is also the
President of Mujeres Invirtiendo, an association of over 300 women leaders in private equity. With roles as COO of EdTech startup Yourney and Head of New Strategic Projects at Innova Schools, Patricia combines strategic vision with strong financial expertise. She holds a Master’s in Business & Technology
from Collective Academy and a background in Actuarial Science and Finance.

Ulrick is Managing Director at The Entrepreneurship Institute for Monterrey at Tec de Monterrey, the most prestigiuos private university in Latin America, positioning as the 5th place in entrepreneurship. He was leader of the Digital Transformation and Innovation practices for Deloitte Consulting, offering service to C-level executives in all Latin America. He is Managing Partner of Everdeen Capital, boutique investment bank and strategic investment fund. 

Ulrick is also a Mentor at Endeavor and a senior professor at diferrent graduate schools.

Gustavo García

Gustavo is a Computer Systems Engineer from the University of Monterrey, he holds a Master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Barcelona.

He is the winner of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year in Mexico in the Emerging Entrepreneurship category and was selected among the top 100 entrepreneurs in Mexico by ASEM.

He has experience advising over 100 companies in the fields of technology and innovation, in addition to being an investor in nine startups. Currently, he serves as Chairman of Skye Group and President of the Software Cluster of Nuevo León. Maricarmen Martínez

Maricarmen Martínez Villarreal, Secretary of Tourism of Nuevo Leon, has a solid academic background and a distinguished professional career. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Monterrey and a Master's degree in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Universidad Regiomontana. She complemented her education with a Diploma in the Internationalization of Local Governments and another in Ceremonial and Protocol, International Relations, and Foreign Affairs, both completed at the Matías Romero Institute.

In her professional career, she has served as Director of Institutional Relations and Tourism for the Municipality of Monterrey. He is of Italian origin, holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy), and a master’s in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C.

Ines Saenz

She is also a member of the advisory board of LabNuevoLeón, Pacto Mundial México and Paseo de la Mujer Mexicana. She collaborated as an editorialist for Milenio Diario for fifteen years. She is an avid reader in search of meaning, who desperately needs to find time to read anytime, anywhere. During the pandemic, she created reading groups that formed communities that together imagine possible worlds.

 

 

 

Jorge Azzario

Graduated as a Chemical and Systems Engineer, and has a master’s degree in administration, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM), a Diploma in Marketing from the Kellogg School of Business, and a Diploma in Conscious Leadership by the Conscious Business Center.

He began his professional life in the chemical industry, in Tecniquimia Mexicana, with a 5-year career in the management of Information Technology, Quality Control, Supply Chain and International Traffic. Later he joined Grupo Multimedios, with an extensive career of more than 20 years, in the media, telecommunications and environmental industries, where he founded Intercable in 1995, the first broadband provider in Latin America, in 1999 he founded Telum, the first high-capacity metropolitan fiber optic network in Latin America, in 2006 as CEO of Cablevisión, and from 2013 as Corporate Vice President of Technology and Sustainability. Likewise, starting in 2006, for 6 years he served as Vice President of the National Chamber of the Cable Telecommunications Industry (CANITEC). In January 2019, he joined Tecnológico de Monterrey, as CEO of Tech Ventures, a trust of technology-related companies that include NIC México, Akky Online Services, Raspberry Services, among others. Today he serves as Director of the Digital Academy, a digital learning and employability ecosystem at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is currently an independent board member in technology, finance and media companies, and a mentor of the Enlace E+E Program for entrepreneurs.

 

 

 

 

David Romero

Prof. Dr. David Romero is a Professor of Advanced Manufacturing at the Departments of Industrial Engineering and Mechatronics of the Tecnológico de Monterrey University in Mexico and the Scientific Vice-chairman for the World Manufacturing Foundation. His research interests include: Circular Manufacturing, Service Engineering and Product-Service Systems, Cyber-Physical Systems and Human Systems, Advanced Production Management Systems, Green Virtual Enterprises, and Technology and Engineering Management in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He is a member of the Society of Collaborative Networks, the IFAC TC5.3 on Enterprise Integration and Networking, the IFIP WG5.7 on Advances in Production Management Systems, the IFIP WG5.12 on Architectures for Enterprise Integration, the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society, and the IEEE Internet of Things Community. Furthermore, he is an Agenda Contributor at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Council on “Shaping the Future of Advanced Manufacturing and Value Chains”, and a World Manufacturing Forum (WMF) Ambassador. He has published more than 200 journal and international conference articles. He serves on different technical and scientific committees and advisory boards in academia, industry, and government in the disciplines of business and industrial engineering. Nowadays, he is focused on promoting the concepts of the "Operator 4.0/5.0" and "Digital Lean Manufacturing"; the father of both terms.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Joana Chapa

She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona (2003) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (1997). Her main areas of interest are multisectoral models, economic growth, and public finance. She has approximately 50 publications and over 40 research and consulting projects. She has received the UANL Research Award in the Social Sciences Area in 2004, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2020, and 2024. She won first place in the CIE-UANL Award in 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016, and received honorable mentions for the Víctor L. Urquidi Award in 2011 and second place in the Eliseo Mendoza Award in 2022.

 

 

 

 

Nasser Mohamed Noriega

Mechanical and Electrical Engineer from the "Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León" (UANL), with a Master's in Science from the same university, and a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences with a focus on Inorganic Chemistry from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany.

Full-time professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at UANL.

Currently serving as Director of Innovation and Technological Model Development at UANL, as well as the central liaison for UANL in Industry 4.0 topics and coordinator of the "UANL Cluster Strategy."

A technology-based innovation enthusiast, with experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural research groups, and an interest in nanomaterials and functional materials for electronic, biomedical, and energy applications; as well as in the design, validation, and development of electromechanical devices and the application of digital tools for digital transformation.

Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) Level 1, with over 15 scientific articles published in indexed journals, more than 40 conference presentations, and 2 patents (with 5 more in process) related to mechanism design, development or selection of new materials for medical applications, and biomedical devices.
